A quick post from me this week. Last Friday.I returned from an amazing, once-in-a-life-time experience attending the wedding of a friend – Harry to Sheenam – in Chandigarh,India. Let me say WOW!!! just WOW!!!

A huge thank you to Harry amd his family for inviting us and hosting us for the visit., Thanks also to Sheenam and her family for making us so welcome.

Unfortunately hubby & I been sick with the flu since we returned and I nearly didn’t make the BlogHop Deadline tonight – but here I am with a quick post as I really wanted to be part of the Blog Hop this week.

I’ve taken inspiration from the table setting on page 32

I know it’s Christmas themed but I just had to share a wedding inspired creation. The colours at the ceremonies we attended were simply stunning!

For my table settings, I’ve used the colours of the flowers in the wedding photo above.

And lots of gold and sparkle of course!

These all are made using Whisper White card stock and an emboss resist technique.

That’s it for me – back to the couch!

  5. I’m so jelly! I think an Indian wedding would be an amazing experience. Your places settings are fabulous, and certainly make me think of all the colours in an Indian wedding. Thanks for having me as a Guest Designer, it’s been fun.

    I do hope you are beginning to feel a lot better now, Jackie. Love your interpretation of the sketch, it looks so “celebratory”!

  6. I bet your world was spinning with colour and sparkle – and music! Such a great transition to bring that all to paper and a table setting is a perfect way. Hope you recover quickly, at least lying around you can read lots of inspiration blogs!!!!
