CASEing the Catty Blog Hop – CTC97 – Favourite Holiday Bundle

Hello and welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.CASEing the Catty Blog Hop CTC97 - Favourite Bundle

Whether you’re joining the Hop here, or if you’ve hopped on over from Krissy – or back from Rachel a BIG hello!

Remember to click on through this week’s CTC crew to see plenty of inspirational projects that the crew have created for you – there’s a full list on the CTC blog page if you get lost along the way.

This week the crew gets to choose our favourite bundle from the Holiday Catalogue to use as our inspiration.

It was a hard choice – but I’ve chosen the Festive Season Stamp Set and Festive Stitching Thinlits Bundle. You can find them on page 16 of the catty.

festive-stitching-bundleHere’s the card I chose to CASE.

holiday16_p16a-4For my CASE I kept several elements the same as the original.

I love that both the patterns on these ornaments were stitched using the patterns created with the same die. Here’s a closeup.

And to add to the golden goodness of the ornaments (Gold Baker’s twine, Gold Foil and Gold embossing) –  I’ve added some gold embossing onto the card base itself.

I love the vintage look of the border from the Father Christmas stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed my card this week!

As always, CASEing the Catty is running a monthly challenge – so you can play along too!

We’d love you to share your own project that takes inspiration from pages 66 to 99 of the Stampin’ Up! 2016 catalogue. Just click on the Join Challenge Button below and you can add your project at the linky you will find at the bottom of the post.

Oh dear, you make me want the Festive Season bundle so bad! I just love the stitching and your gold embossed sentiment on the craft CS. Very effective!

Oooh Jackie! I so love vintage and the Christmas Father stamp set looks great especially with the gold embossing as well as the stitched ornaments, great CASEing!!

So vintage Jackie – it reminds me of a Swedish Christmas!!! (Do you have Miss Mauds in NZ?). One of my fave products from the Holiday Catalogue is that gold twine – I hope they bring out a whole range of it!!! Kelly x

Thanks Kelly. No we don’t have Miss Mauds in New Zealand. I might have to try one out while we are in Aussie for On Stage!
