CASEing the Catty CTC166 – Welcome Note cards all Painted with Love

Painted with Love note cards meet Cozy Cottage!

CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to CASEing the Catty – Sunday Blog Hop.
Whether you’re joining the Hop here at CreativeJax with Jackie Noble, or if you’ve hopped on over from Megan Lenske – a big WELCOME!

This week the CTC Crew are CASE-ing a project from pages 18 – 21 in the Occasions Catalogue!
I’ve taken my inspiration from the layout of the note card at the bottom of page 18.

Here’s a closer look at my version.

Narrow Note cards all Painted with Love

I’ve used a layered circle rather than the heart shape on the original and adjusted where my sentiment was placed. Both stamped images come from the Cozy Cottage Host set. This gorgeous set is only available to purchase with Stampin’ Rewards with a qualifying order which can be an individual customer order or from a Stampin’ Up! workshop/party. I’m so in love with those little chairs!

The other elements of the card are from the Painted with Love Suite. The card base is one of the Whisper White Narrow Note cards which come with matching envelopes. It’s easy to miss these cute wee note cards as they are right at the bottom of page 19. Their size is 6.4 x 11.4cm (2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches) and they fit perfectly into the box you can make with the Lots of Love Box Framelits – also on page 19.

The colour palette is from the Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper (DSP) which I’ve used as a background layer. I cut the DSP to 5.7 x 10.8cm (2 1/4 x 4 1/4″) and layered onto the front of the note card. There are gold features on one side of each of the 6 double-sided sheets – stunning.

Both stamped images are stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink – the chairs onto Whisper White cardstock and the sentiment onto Calypso Coral cardstock. I punched the sentiment out using the versatile Classic Label Punch. The chairs are punched out using the 1 1/4″ circle punch and layered onto Rich Razzleberry – punched out with the 1 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch

I popped the Chairs up on dimensionals with a piece of both of the colours of the Love Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack – gold and Powder Pink – behind.

This note card was one of my Make’n’Takes at my catalogue launch parties which I held in January.

Here’s a portrait version.

Everyone had the option of adding an extra bit of bling – one of the gold shapes from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Here are both note cards together.
