Design it with Designer Series Paper – and All My Love at Christening time!

All My Love at Christening time

Design it With Designer Series Paper

Welcome to this month’s Design it with Designer Series Paper Blog Hop.

Our Design Team is made up of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from throughout the world – one from each of the countries/markets that Stampin’ Up! has a presence in. We have come together to share projects focusing on the beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogues.

Each month we will be featuring a different paper and in January we are featuring a brand new DSP – All My Love. This paper is the first DSP you will see in the recently released Occasions Catalogue.

All My Love DSP

The All My Love product suite may seem like a suite designed just for Valentine’s Day – it is soooooooo much more. Think weddings, friends, birthdays – there are lots of possibilities.

I’ve made a gorgeous Christening card for a special wee girl using the All My Love DSP paired with the Cross and Hope framelit Dies and the Hold onto Hope stamp set.

My card base is a product I was so pleased to see on the Carry Over List from the Holiday Catalogue – the Silver-Edged Notecards & Envelopes.  If you’re not sure what is still available from the Holiday Catalogue you can check out all the Carry Over items HERE

The pattern I’ve chosen from the All My Love DSP pack has a Flirty Flamingo with cute little hearts in Whisper White and Lovely Lipstick. This pattern co-ordinates perfectly with both ribbons from the All My Love Combo Pack as these are Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick with white stitched edge.. So I wrapped a piece of each around the DSP before adhering the DSP to the Silver Edged notecard and then tied a bow.

Another of the co-ordinating products from the All is Love Suite was used to cut the Whisper White heart-shapes which have the sentiment stamped in Lovely Lipstick onto them. The Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies include 16 dies – including nesting die sets and two different shaped hearts – some of which even cut out the hearts on the DSP!

Be Mine Stitched Dies

You can see another of the Be Mine Framelits on the envelope in the photo below – the group of hearts. While I haven’t used them in this project, this dies also cuts out 21 individual little hearts.

This photo of the card and envelope also shows both of the dies I have used from the Cross of Hope Framelits Dies. These were cut from Silver Foil sheet to tie in with the silver edge of the card base. The sentiments are from the Hold onto Hope stamp set which co-ordinates with the Cross of Hope Framelits.

Our gift to the wee whose Christening we were so blessed to be part, came in a beautiful Navy box. I didn’t want to wrap this box – but I did want for it to match my card so added Flirty Flamingo diecuts, tied Silver Metallic Edged White Ribbon around the box and added a bow made with the All My Love Ribbon Combo.

As always, I’ve carried a design element through to the inside of my card – this time the multi-heart die in Flirty Flamingo.

Love how so many of the elements tie in with each other in the card, envelope and gift box.

The Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick work so well with the silver and the navy.

Thanks Kath! I just couldn’t resist the stitching!

Jackie, I love how the heart on your card looks 3D. I am thinking this is the effect of the stitching detail. Bother. You may have just convinced me i need another bundle.
Also love that you used the box your gift came in and decorated it to your theme. Beautiful.
    Another stunning design. Thanks
